While most of us in the today’s society are concerned about intellectual capacities that claim to be calculated via statistical analysis, it is important for the modern conscious individual to know that emotional intelligence rooted from the heart is the compass to all of life's passages. However, learning how to balance logic and emotions can be the biggest challenge that you encounter when trying to make decisions based from your heart's feelings.
First, let's recap what our heart’s physically functions are. It is an organ that pumps blood throughout the body via the circulatory system, supplying oxygen and nutrients to the tissues and removing carbon dioxide and other waste... Sounds pretty important right? In addition to its main vital functions, our heart is also the symbol of Love, Unity, Peace and Happiness! |
Am I living unconsciously now?
When you make the conscious decision to lead your life from your heart, these symbols also become your trademarks, and balancing your emotions from the inner-you to the outer-you become part of your everyday journey. Everything we see, think, experience, and feel magically adjusts to match our beliefs. Our belief system is powered but the compassion of our heart fueling the lion within to roar! Enabling your animal instinct, living from your heart equally translates to living from your inside mirror, truly representing a reflection of your conscious soul.
Stop for one second and ask yourself: Am I living unconsciously now? Do I like my job? Do I spend enough time with my loved ones? Perhaps these questions are difficult to answer clearly on the spot since we spend most of our time on a loud, accumulating foggy thoughts that we fill inside of a calendar like it’s supposed to “represent” our lives.
Conscious clarity is not something you can acquire overnight. Living consciously is a lifestyle, a skill, an art. It’s not something you do just once, but a habit that you can form for the rest of your life. Slowly but surely, you will start to focus on the long-lasting effects of your decisions. This guarantees a sustainable result that we can live comfortably with.

Sustainable living means different things to different people. For some it’s personal sustainability—keeping oneself going with enough money and energy to get by. For others, it’s a global thing. Regardless what your interpretation may be, there are three top rules to live by:
Rule #1: Prioritize ourselves
Rule #2: Prioritize true, restful sleep
Rule #3: Center, Align and THEN Radiate
Once we have connected to ourselves, embraced ourselves, and made our own being whole, then we can begin to let our love radiate out. The secret, at that point, is to let love radiate out with no expectations of results. This is the definition of unconditional love.
This experience can be enhanced through mind-body practices such as yoga and qigong, helping you to ground and align. After all, if we become ungrounded and continue to radiate our energies outward, we will inevitably burn out, or spin out of control and lose our emotional bearings. So it is important to continue to ground, center, and align in our daily lives with our mind-body practices if we want to invite clarity to guide us.
Below are some great immediate symptomatic aids from your kitchen cabinet that can help you de-stress and achieve inner balance:
1. Chamomile
2. Lavender
3. Hops
4. Lemon balm
5. And don’t forget to BREATHE!!!!
