At this historic event we will celebrate traditional health practices of cultures from all over the world that have long recognized the importance of readily available natural resources that provide nutritive benefits to the body. From fruits and vegetables to drinking hot tea, these time honored traditions have stood the test of time and have been supported by medical and social institutions.
Many food assistance programs now provide fresh fruits and vegetables, alkaline water is the latest health trend and some insurance programs now offer free yoga. Optimal health is achievable as many diseases are preventable. Optimal wellness can also be achieved by addressing the mental and spiritual health of our communities.
We must keep our traditions alive and continue to promote a culture that is healthy, strong, united, and safe. This family fun and informative event is the perfect setting! Lets come together and get (and stay) HEALTHY!
